I think it's like this: polar wakes up in Spring from months of
underground hybernation and needs to hunt for seals to eat, but bec
of global warming, the spring temp gets too warm too soon, that the
ice sheets melted too fast that the poor polar has to swim far far
away.
Polar finally found land with walruses (but very exhausted) and
tried to eat one of their babies, but failed and got injured...then
he laid down to sleep...and probably can't survive. My heart went
out to him. 
The other segments on penguins and emperor penguins were super
cute.
